is a registered charity set up to collect computers that are no longer needed by industry, have them professionally refurbished, and then given to schools in need .
The Charity is limited by its Trust Deed to providing "free" computers to schools, but because industry is constantly upgrading its computers, more and more are being discarded and donated for refurbishment. It has therefore now launched a "Computers for All" scheme which makes computers available, at a fraction of the cost of a new computer, to any Senior Citizen willing to pay for the cost of refurbishment and any possible upgrading that you may require. As an example, fully refurbished, Internet-ready, Pentium-based computers are available from £50 upwards (+ VAT) including a 14" monitor a CD-ROM drive and modem.
